I hate, hate, hate the month of September

Once again I am struck with my annual bout of severe hay fever. Claritin and Benadryl haven’t really helped and I haven’t been able to sleep due to the coughing, the runny/stuffy nose and the crap dripping down the back of my throat. Got the chills, too. I’ve now been up for about 30 hours. I wanted to miss work, I felt so terrible, but I’ve missed work so much this past summer due to all that went on that my boss had a little talk with me recently and told me I had to stop doing that or I would be fired. So I went to work in much misery.

Damn you, pollen! Damn you to hell! Damn you, overactive immune system, which can’t even tolerate anti-allergy cream.

There’s a 60% chance of rain today, which might clear the air…if it actually does rain.

So my boyfriend (now husband) used to get TERRIBLE hayfever. I mean he could not sit on grass when we first met because he would get the most horrendous nosebleeds. His eyes would wake up glued together in the summer almost every day.
Anyway he went to some kind of holisitic therapist in the end, that worked with his mum cause he had tried everything. She asked him a lot of questions about his medical history etc etc. A week later she came round and gave him 2 tablets- he took 1 before he went to bed and 1 the next day. Never had hayfever again. I sh*t you not! And he is much more sceptical than me about this kind of thing, but it worked.
I would suggest that you 100% try some alternative therapy because it cost my husband about £30 from memory (about $20 I think).

    Seek one out!

That stuff youre taking is crap. Zytrec D is twenty times better and doesnt make you lose sleep. Also, make sure you wash your hair before you go to bed each night to remove pollen from it and change your pillow case every three days at least. These changes make a huge difference in battling allergies. Also take your multivitamins, let me know how that works!

My mom gave me some Zyrtec and it did zilch.

My hay fever is improving, but I’m still coughing and sniffling and having to clear my throat all the time. I may try your suggestions.
