The El Paso Times has run an article about Joseph Hurtado, a toddler who disappeared without a trace thirty-five years ago today. The article doesn’t say a whole lot, but it has a little more information on his case and an additional picture. It always please me to see ancient, musty old cases get some fresh press attention. Particularly since I had nothing on Joseph at all.
There’s no reason to suppose he’s dead. If he was abducted, it may very well have been by someone who wanted to keep him. He would not remember his real family.
