Jeannie reminds me of my late aunt. She was born the same year and her high school graduation photo (which still hangs in my grandmother's house) looks just like Jeannie's - same flat-ironed hair, three-quarter face pose. Must've been an early '70s school photo standard. It's a shame poor Jeannie met such an awful fate, and so young, before her life really started. At least her family has a couple of answers, but that won't bring their little girl back.

This is really interesting. Another cold case solved-well sort of because we don't know who did it or how, but thankfully her loved ones can now know what happened to her. This gives me hope some more cold cold cold cases may be solved in the coming years.
